Sometimes I just pretend not to hear the things you say
Try to wish your words away
Like a rainy day
But you soak me with your lies
Until I am dripping confusion all over the place
I used to love your face
But I don't recognize it anymore

"Do not marry the one that you can live with. Marry the one you cannot live without."

WHat a great poem, I know pretty much how you feel. Keep up the good work.

This is a good poem WoG. It is unfortunate and really does suck when you don't recognise the person you used to know.
Keep your chin up though.

Very powerful and well thought out idea! I enjoyed reading!

Nicely done......short and sweet.....and dripping with talent.

Dopey_Dope, I really enjoy reading your replies and I appreciate them very much! They are never boring and always original. So thank you...and thanks to everyone else who replied. I really didn't think anyone would like this poem because it's so short and sort of unifinished.
