I can still feel what it was
lingering beneath my skin
burned all the fire succumb defeat
it all disappears when i try to reach

In, around, and through my planes
everything is lost back at the beginning
the sweet taste of what was to be,
rotting and cleansing from within me.

such perfect pretty crevices,
cutting deep into my hands
such a perfect mapped out thought
I remember sometimes
how deep can you go?
how strong can you be?
How much will it take
to destroy me?
I can wash it all away
carried by dispassionate tides
follow me down the drain
to my decaying apathetic inside

What a beautiful dilatory decline
in this vacant sullen existence
i fell apart yesterday
but live to today
I remember now
i can't erase what i've heard
or what you've said
it's all in place now...

Knowing in some remote night
when shadows could whisper
in my ear
I would be washed away
(but nothing would be so near)

pull me closer
to what
could and
would and
won't exist
in some deceitful dream...somewhere in the back
i taste the demise of another life

find me in another way
run away to another place
find me in this dilusion,
where i've been
waiting for my deseased
self-conclusion

"When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro"

Oh my...
this poem absolutely amazed me...
it put me in a trance the first time I read it, so I'm going to read it again.

Ohhh man... hehehe...
yup, this is the best poem I've read in awhile.  Excellent.  The word usage, and how you described everything, simply amazing.
I really can't say much more than that!  Amazing!

first of all, if you noticed, you can't bump your own poems anymore

The poem is very interesting
Truthfully, I'm a little lost
Can you kinda explain this to me a bit
much appreciated

i like this piece... have you ever seen the film American Beauty? sorta reminds me of that work... i suppose we all have a little darkness in us... myself being no exception... you might want to use a spell-checker though... some of the misspelled words were close enough to other possible word choices to be somewhat confusing...

hey acire i guess i'll give a small explanation..heh not up for a big one..
basically it is about losing your passion
for something you love..you don't really
feel alive without the passion within you

Yeah. I know how it is. I used to have this huge thing about happiness. Lost that passion. Hellooo apathy! Welcome, care to stay a while? Amazing, anomaly. You amaze me past any point of possible comprehension.
