The truth about us

Lying awake
As all the others sleep
The world sleeps through
My thoughts-
I thought they were so loud
They wake me up
Keep me from sleeping sin away
From living up to
That damn cliché
“Innocence is bliss”
I want that
To be able to look past
The realities
The pain
And the death
Of innocence
There is none
Just a bunch of deceiving
And manipulating
The lies, they blind them
They blind us
We pretend to be God’s children
God would have forsaken us by now
We have failed him
He failed us
Those who believe
And those who don’t
Either way it doesn’t matter
Because only I lay here
Knowing the truth about us…

look you poor excuse for a blasphemy against god, youve got one very good poem there.

i really liked it, and i see its kinda continuing the other one about inspiration and loss of self.

First of all I am sorry about yesterday, my sister's boyfriend was on under my name and he didnt tell me till after he got off that someone IM'ed me.
