I don’t know what else to say,
I could thank you for everything,
That you’ve over done for me,
But I’ll save that for another day.

You’ll always be the one I love,
I’ve adopted you as my lil brother,
You’ll always be known as;
“The one sent from above”.

It’s been over a year,
Since we first became friends,
A friendship like ours,
Won’t soon disappear.

Melissa, God I love her,
I know you miss her too,
The three of us together . . .
Can you say disaster?

With my graduation impending,
I know I must leave soon,
Things may be forced to change,
But our friendship isn’t ending.

i dont know if i should cry because its over, or smile because it happened

I liked this, there was a raw honesty to it, an understanding between reader and poet, an understanding many strive for but few can grasp.

Very "i hope you had the time of your lifish", or at least, it's how i see it.  I have but one year until i graduate, and i'm almost not looking foreward to it.  But it is a time of growing, no longer a child but a adult, thrust into the world of gaints, but yourself still a comparative shrimp...i guess we'll have to grow a lot . Good luck and nice work.

Wonderful reflections on your friendship and life with this person. Thanks for sharing.

Great job Tamma! I'm sure he believes it if you express your love openly.

I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust.

I'm in love with my shadow
I admire it daily

Wonderful expression of feelings Tamma.  I'm sure he appreciates this
