Only She

Late waves splash
a line of pale lace
dripping slow back
again into the gray sea
their life's remnants
awash along the jetty

In a moments time
like the ink from
her heart's well
trumpeting ardent
songs on thirsty paper
the sea fans my sight
with vibrant rushes
of unending birth

My heart squeezing
firm her unyielding
confirmation
as only she knows
the worth of my
transcendence
I bow to grace
the warm sand
beneath my knees

(sigh) Excellent poem, Robert! Yes, only she knows of your existance in her heart, and you share a love with her that blossoms heavenly. Thank you for sharing, my friend!

May love and light always shine upon you!

RJ~
This is positively fragrant with imaged thoughts -

'I bow to grace
the warm sand
beneath my knees'

How very much I enjoyed it.
