I know that you are lonely,
by the way your heart met mine…
All brave and true, but somehow,
not so sure…
If anyone looked closely,
I am sure that they would find…
Your heart was searching,
for a heart that’s pure…

Let two hearts joined together
never let a day go by,
where love is reaching out,
but all in vain…
And never let those hearts believe it
does no good to try…
If hearts give up,
the “ache” is all that’s gained…

So, here I stand alone,
my humble heart within my hand…
I know you’re out there watching,
as I speak…
And all this love I offer you,
will help you understand…
That heart to heart’s the only road
I seek…

My gentle heart is calling…
Can you hear it on the wind?
Listen to the softly whispering breeze…
Then let your heart unlock it’s door,
and let my heart come in…
And keep my love…
Forever…
Won’t you, please?

I'd like to thank Mark B. for the beautiful gift of hearts at the top of the page!!

Truely wonderful my sister of poetry.  If this don't get him then they might as well pronounce him dead.  Very tenderly written and full of the pure emotion we have come to expect from you.

ps....I am glad that you were able to put the graphic to good use.  I knew you would anyway.

Hi Brother.....
I just had to write something to go with that beautiful set of hearts!!  Sometimes, the picture is the inspiration....I love these hearts and their path they take to join one another!  Thank you......

Yes, the muse is becoming more active in this pre-Spring phase!! But I don't mind at all, as long as she keeps me writing!!  Thank you, my friend!!

Sunny, though this is a romantic poem, it makes me think of the two of us, out there with our hearts extended, waiting for them to be accepted. Wonderful, loved it, and the graphics, too.
