If I Could

I would stand where Adam stood
In a strand of green and wood.
Walking in the garden path
Void the beckon of its math.

Listening to the purring brook
Not a picture in a book.
Watching bird and butterfly
Drinking beauty without why.

Stretching in the morning sun
Standing there as only one.
Surfing in the morning breeze
All without a set of keys.

Feeling essence all about
Living life without a doubt.
Knowing Eve is waiting him
Not a thought about a sin.

God I miss those good old days
Lord I miss those good old ways.

Sy,
What a write, temptation personified!
