It's not that I can't finish this piece it's just that I don't want to. I want you to add a verse and see where we can go with it. Remember just one verse!
Aw c'mon show me what you can do!!

LOST IN SIGHT

I found you in a sea so dark and deep
lost in shadows of night thrills.
I could see that as you gathered grief
you were headed for a spill.

Your eyes were jaded emeralds harsh
from fears you tried to hide.
But I knew inside that soul gone stark
was a heart I could revive.

The nights were timeless hiding truth
in the vacant rooms of gold.
And in the street sense ways of youth
you'd let your values go.

Lost in a nightlife trading worth
where a lovelight never burns
You stood with souls of bitter work
to feel the worst you'd learned

and.............................

The poet is like a cocoon; in him the caterpillar of the past finds rest, and from him the butterfly of the future emerges.

ethome -
I saw you in the darkness of night,
but radiant you were, in the moonlight..
Touching closer, warmth of two,
Only wanting to know, the breath of you..

but bitter still, hollow inside
you learned to trust and then
I came along to give you pride
to learn the ways of men

Those of us who refuse to risk and grow get swallowed up by life. Patty Hansen.

He he right on! Thanks you two!

when suddenly by a touch
of silent, invisible hand
came to light the nature of
a truly loving man

the grief faded from your eyes
you walked away from hollow night
and in a piece of peace you found
you walked on toward the light

and suddenly, I knew just why
I'd found you standing there.
It was because you needed me
and all my love to share.

You walk the empty streets of dreams
In silence set with shame
Lost in the label others scream
Trying to place the blame

Your fears to real in your mind
The pain you cannot hide
You search for a future you cant seem to find
On these streets where death resides
