The Seeds of Friendship

Upon a gentle breeze did blow,
seeds of friendship for me to grow.
They landed in my garden fair,
I tended them with tender care.
Watered with liberal doses of love,
and wrapped with warmth allowing of...
what they would soon grow to be...
and how much they would mean to me.
The seeds took root and began to flourish,
the sprouts I did gladly nourish...
for nothing is more precious than a friend.
