A Tear needs a Hug
~~~
The summer night
can lose it's glitter
when thoughts no longer touch the sky
Earthbound cares
can turn to worries
when partnered with a weary sigh
some vain repinings from our storms
teach us to stop
and search within
The hearts we think we've lost forever
are merely
just beneath
our skin
~~~

Wow! This touched me, your words are so true, and yet I needed this poem to remind me.  The flow and thought is perfect, this is one of my favourites of yours now.  I have a feeling that the last few lines will have a great impact on all the readers.  ~Hugs to you~

Take care,
Melissa

Rex, what can I say that hasn't been said already? I'd repeat everything said here. Just wanted you to know I enjoyed this one, and felt it within.
It touched that place beneath my skin.
