my heart sings like a bird of paradise
floating upon feathered wings of love
my heart is a velvet flower blossoming
floating gracefully as a white dove
floating in the solace of a dream
within the discretion of deja vu
floating in a nest of whip cream
the night, ultramarine blue

darkness is sparkling with diamond dust
upon the branches of frozen champagne
dizzy from the wings of winds gust
awakening to the smell of acid rain
upon my feet is mud from earths crust
sleepwalking towards a weather vane

A poem is never finished, only abandoned.

Of all the lines here, "floating in a nest of whip cream" is the most enchanting
