A mirror of blue and aqua hue
Glass that expands over endless miles
While I sit and enjoy the view
Flowers bloom on the verdant isles

Glass that expands over endless miles
Melodies float upon rainy mists
Flowers bloom on the verdant isles
Where ocean waves and blue skies kiss

Melodies float upon rainy mists
Mermaids play and sea nymphs hide
Where ocean waves and blue skies kiss
I listen to the roaring tide

Mermaids play and sea nymphs hide
While I sit and enjoy the view
I listen to the roaring tide
A mirror of blue and aqua hue

You paint some wonderful images in this piece and it is refreshing to read one that holds a dream that we could only hope to be real instead of fantasy.  Who knows......maybe mermaids do exist.  Beautifully written.

Wonderful pantoum, I like the imagery.  Nicely penned.

I would love to be where you describe right this very minute!
