please, make no mistake, i know nothing about Four Seasons, except the opening sound... this is just something inspired by the title..... vaguely.

/vivaldi had no foresight

eight seasons so far, and more to come
i'm afraid.
not that i don't enjoy the company of love, herself.

and that is what you are.

but there aren't words for this anymore.
you're sick and home and you haven't called or asked for help.
"all your excuses turn to lies."
we need not to overcome time, but to permeate time itself,
the way smoke fills the air when we talk,
the way your eyes fill my memories of you.
oh, to see like you. to see what you see.
it would be like fire.

and that is what you are.

"...never should have believed," i sing to myself.
it doesn't carry a tune, but it's so catchy.
and so i hum to myself, making it up as i go along.
the interference heightens in a growing crowd.
"... i can still feel you." but the signal is dulled by those around,
infuriated by the bandwidth interference.
scarce do i make out a full transmission. "where are you now?"
"... what is the difference - the distinction - between a swisch and a whistler?"
and some more chatter.
"... these are audio-frequency radio waves."

and that is what you are.

you are beautiful, and carry a warm tone.
but you are so open to interruption.

and this is where we are.

eight seasons later, and this is where we are.
sometimes the end is whisper quiet./

Very interesting piece. It has a captivating feel to it, especially at the end. I don't really understand what emotion is being portrayed, for certain. I do sense extreme uncertainty. Perhaps a few reads through would make it clearer to me. Or, maybe it's just too late. However, I think it has inspired me...well not the poem, but the title, has inspired me to write a spoof of a piece called "Grimaldi's Four Seasons." So we shall see what comes of it. Are you familiar with any of PDQ Bach?

Sorry but to this Musician
did your title call
only to say

Vivaldi spoke in a language
so belovedly universal
it does more tham survive his
words passions sounds he inspires

Moreover redefines
who and all we are
and he spoke his insight
in more then merely four seasons

It is there
for all
who seek
life

Sorry I know your poem has little to nothing to do with the composer. My apologies, but that man's`music has held true for EVERY GENERATION THAT HAS FOLLOWED.

Your forgiveness, please at my composers overraction

"Does the unsighted bird begin the singing? Or are we, as would it more likely seem to these humble ears, recapiants of the chain reaction, as is now said, of God's affirmation in affection, each sunrise, uniquely whole and holy ?"

I see it. . . instead of Four Seasons of time. . . Eight Seasons of the heart. . .

excellent writing. . .

Awesome. And are you aware "all my excuses turn to lies" is a nine inch nails quote? Maybe that was unintentional, but now I have nine inch nails AND vivaldi in my head. D'oh.
