Every day I make strides to change
The things that made me who I am
To shed the depression and anxiety
And to learn to let more things go
It's painful and ugly at times some
Things just cling for an eternity
Every where i turn I see constant
Reminders of things from the past
Molded and Dusty memories
Unearthed by introspection
Why do I cling to things gone?
Will I ever be able to release them?
All the ghosts of the past creep
Into my conscious mind and wrestle
Thoughts away from the present
Specters be gone! Away with you
Haunt someone else!

The questions
I hope
inspire the answere

I hope you find all
sometimes
single moment
allows rebirth
it happens

as its converse
which cloaks too many
damn near us all
