Finding Unwinding

There shall be sereneness in my life some day
to go from morn's light to dark of night softly
to know that just one love holds me in his sway
there shall be sereneness in my life some day

there shall be a piece of peace in my life one day
in the hand of one man who shall show the way
to know that just one love holds me in his sway
there shall be a piece of peace in my life one day

I shall unwind my soul when I find my whole
for there must be one who would not exact a toll
to know that just one love holds me in his sway
I shall unwind my soul when I find my whole

there shall be a day to come and hair of gold is gray
but eyes of love shall gaze at me all the night and day
to know that just one love holds me in his sway
there shall be a day to come and hair of gold is gray

There shall be sereneness in my life some day
there shall be a piece of peace in my life one day
there shall be a day to come and hair of gold is gray
and I will know just one love that holds me in his sway

Kari love, sereness, peace, tranquillity? With me around, you have got to be kidding, we will be the only women over seventy who can still do the hula hoop, rollerblade, and juggle. Well I can juggle, I do it all the time me.
Serene, and peacable, Oh yes, very quiet, not!! you'll be the speaker in the (What's your equivalent of the House of Commons?) well, that, and I'll be running the equal ops unit. (Everything in the House is a unit these days!)
You don't need me to tell you this is a wonderful dreamy piece, QUIET, I think not dear heart!!
Take care love, and watch out behind you

Kerilea,
Quote the poet.

There shall be sereneness in my life some day
to go from morn's light to dark of night softly
to know that just one love holds me in his sway
there shall be sereneness in my life some day

"...and I will know just one love that holds me in his sway"

You know, Sunshine, sometimes I think about this very thing and I have to wonder if, just maybe, we aren't (or at least some of us) always meant to have "just one love".  Maybe we're supposed to love as a whole, giving of ourselves to several, others, the love that so consumes us. Just maybe we were meant to share the powerful force that fills our soul with others that are less fortunate, and can't love the way we can. Maybe, in the end we do find that "one" love to finalize our days...maybe not.

Maybe it's karma, if you believe in such a thing; maybe we, in past lives, were "loose" and not respectful of love, and are paying for it today, if truly we pay for past "mistakes" in our journey to "perfection".

Maybe...and I could go on and on, as I'm sure all can, pondering the why's; gee, guess this piece struck a cord, huh???

Mucho enjoyed.

Wow...James, I am thrilled at this passionate response of yours...so many things you've touched on...so many beliefs...so little time....no wonder so many of us believe in other planes and former lives...

please...never hesitate to tell me how you really feel!...this, Sir...was wonderful!
