The warmth of your body. The smell, of your hair. Your intoxicating presence. My obsessive love. The weeks, that you left me. The tears, that I shed. My pride, that you trampled. My love, that was gone. The day, that you came back. The pain, that I swallowed. My forgiving heart. My kids, that I loved. Our lives must go on. A quarter of a century must pass, for the writer to understand what and why he writes. |
