Figgy Pudding and other Figments

somewhere,
all the thoughts
must go somewhere ~
Dickens had his figgy pudding
and I just have
figgy moments
and figments of imagination
running rampant

it’s not life, it’s not life…
not real life,
but what if, what if it were…
up to you to decide
if you want to ride
that horse or not
or leave it in the stable
where you are able
to tend and care
and share
some feed

I want to ride….

onward to my figmented moments
or should that be
fermented moments…

never let’s mind
but let’s unwind
and let our thoughts run free
and you can write as you
and I can write as me
and whether it’s real life
or just a fantasy
it’s ok, it’s ok
let those thoughts just be!

I won’t look into your write
and tear it apart just to find
that you were having a figgy moment
there in private spaces of the mind
where there those thoughts can unwind
and leave the gray of your confine

and find their way to blue
would you?

Could you? In all reality
wouldn’t you allow the fantasy
of what you read to just let be?

And as you come to know the me
that lies within the fantasy
and when you might see reality ~
well ~
just allow the figgy moment
to show a figment of what might be

and then

and then

take the thoughts that cross your mind
there in those private spaces of your mind
where there all those thoughts unwind
and leave the gray of your confine

and write your way to blue ~

would you?

Karilea
If I whisper, will you listen?...
I would rather be silent and write, than speak loudly and be bound.

Sunshine--I say run with it...climb with it, fall with it, and most of all, write it, with care and wisdom sprinkled just like my friend, Karilea.

I agree with you, I just write. I don't erase, (bad habit), allot of mistakes. But you know what I don't mind. I don't like to critique others because I think that they are expressing it their way. Lovely thought on writing.

Karilea~

I like thoughts
in shades of blue
or green or yellow
if they come from you
Shucks, I don't even think
I'd care if they were
magically done pink
As long as they say
what YOU think

A new word has entered my vocabulary (hey, maybe someday I'll see it in Reader's Digest).

...and write your way to blue...
I love this line. It says more to me than you can know.
