Our Feet are Clay

Your feet, your feet are made of clay
Your tears, your tears melt them away
They thaw into pools of sorrow
That sees no end or tomorrow.

Please dry your tears, shed your fears and
The clay will harden from your cheer.
Just sing yourself a mollify
To keep the smile within your eye.

Never ever lose sight your light
And hold your candle high in height
Fly yourself to El Dorado
Just spread your wings and you will go.

There you will eat on candied dish
And wash it with exotic wish.
You’ll be the queen of beauties seem
And live within this lovely dream.

So do not cry and melt your clay
Just fly yourself to Mandalay.

Shoot....I was going to pick out a favorite line, but as I read, and re-read this piece, all lines quickly, assuredly, became favorite lines....how could I not like them all?

Well done Sy....thank you for the smiles....

Sunshine,
Glad I could make you smile. *L*

Nakd,
But of cource that's where I'm writing from.

Corazon,
They are two of the things that are still free. *L*

JM,
Randys wings will be just fine. In fact I just looked in on him and of all things he was putting a saddle on his back.
