Abstract dreams

there was no music in the room
still two lovers danced to moon
what had brought them where they are
now, have they danced too high and far
a heart, a mind, freed to explore
waiting, searching, wanting to know more
all steps that heart and soul take
leave you hungry, with different ache
but light of day cause eyes to react
reality now found, dreams abstract
oh, which is dream, which is real
the sound of silence, truth concealed

sometimes it's hard to tell, isn't it? but to believe in dreams and seek them is a gift... it's just a matter of discernment and knowing if you're asleep or awake... or something... lol.... your poem was charming

Yes, I liked this with its questions. Many truths involved that tear the mind apart just pondering them. Sometimes maybe we shouldn't ponder so much, but receive things without question.

Perhaps the silence space
between like notes implied
the tale tells swaying silent
rhythms surely envelope stars see

burning their quiet unquenchable feat
inspiring steps lighting the night
ushering in the day that dark nor light
can ever change a dream awakened heart

hey,lady, how go the "travels"?
been offline for awhile and still in that funk but had to answer this.
if you haven't stumbled onto it, look for "dreams of truth". just for you.
have been trying to send my best "hope things go well with you" vibes your way - hope some found you and found you well.
