Asking too much?

Yes, I want to be in love
and all the variables there of
I want to boldly take that risk
feeling things I have missed
it's a different kind of ache
one, that I could take
lost helplessly in a bliss
starting with your kiss
love scenes in the night
secrets told of delight
three o'clock for me to wake
moans that only lovers make
someone to whom I turn
with every wanting yearn
wrapped around warm arms
safe between these charms
teaching all you know
loving starts to flow
a face that is rough
I can never get enough
someone to make me tremble
heart beats disassemble
a hand entwined in mine
life to share and combine
yes, I want to feel this touch
is being in love asking too much?

it should not be.
no. not too much.
withstanding hand
of loving touch...
and no it should
not ever be...
a sacrifice of "you"
to me...

take me now
as ever am...
take me now
and understand
this is the last
request you'll see.
Take me.
Tame the beast in me.

NO IT'S NOT!

The poet is like a cocoon; in him the caterpillar of the past finds rest, and from him the butterfly of the future emerges.

You ask only
for life and light
neither could desert
even in deserts once lived

There was and is a voice
a hand both speaking silently
yet screaming the sky answering
your love is all and more new

denies the old new a chance to hold
new the breath shared new the story told
new the living old the dream as you reawaken
forming what ALL you have ever desired

yet to this day a yesterday unknown
breathe deep the moment as it marks
the pathway loved given but until
the now nver spoken sing loud your love

The world hears
your call
and answers
oh how it answers
