Immaculate Conception

My angel flew away.
Seems she didn't really want to play.
Sometimes I get kind of rough.
I love to kiss and hug and all that sugary stuff.
Perhaps she was an angel looking for an immaculate conception.
Although she did like to kiss a lot.
But she'd push me away if I got to hot
and wasted no time slapping my face if I touched her where she said...not.
Sometimes romance seems just like a religious experience.
Takes you right up to heaven for a period of time
then makes you wait until you die til true love you will find.
Anyway I was thinking what if you die and go to heaven
and kissings not allowed on those streets of gold up there
and all these beautiful angels only offer you a handshake and tell you how heavenly nice that you could make it up those heavenly stairs.
And you want to hug and kiss them and show them how much you care but they are so heavenly ascended and have only friendly conversation to share.
Meanwhile back on planet earth yes I'm still alive
and I kiss to live and I kiss to survive.
I make a vow to kiss every angel that's alive.
Leave it to me to miss no kissing opporunity.
I promise to offer a kiss to each earthy and heavenly angel I shall see.

This is a great write James...I love the whole idea and the title caught me for sure....good stuff!!

The poet is like a cocoon; in him the caterpillar of the past finds rest, and from him the butterfly of the future emerges.

Hi James,

Yes the title did grab me right off, and was loving the poetry as well, a man who loves to love, keep on loving those angles dear one day though one is going to take you right up to heaven and never let you go!!!

Love, Cerenity

Say Mike there is a cure for this kissing bug
It's call a kissing slug.
It comes in a bottle and some times a brand
just about the size of a hand.
Excellent write, I enjoyed.
