Oft' alone in silent ponder,
Gazing 'loft to welkin's yonder,
Mind from body in dissever,
Adrift upon far side of ever,
Beyond cruel bounds of earthen fetter,
Seeking wisdom through night's rhettor,
Orion guards high heaven's vault,
Seven Sisters sing exalt,
Apollo's lute strums hymn's reprise,
Polaris fades, night's passing skies,
As I search in endless wander,
Alone, alone, in silent ponder.

Celestials shan't resist your lyric lines
of invocation's peace, poetic vow.
Each shimm'ring star and muse, for you, devines
she'll shine the brightest Heaven will allow.

Your poem brings out the peaceful in me. It is an absolute delight.

Loved the depth and cadence of this wonderful compostion!

The poet is like a cocoon; in him the caterpillar of the past finds rest, and from him the butterfly of the future emerges.

Mike,

Some very rich thoughts in this, even the title - everything is a feeling of fullness.

It's always such a comfort to fall into the
softness of your poetry at the end of a
long day....thank you for weaving the words
that wrap my heart in golden rays of
tenderness~

"Adrift upon the far side of ever"... That would be I... ...

This is one of the better of your best, Mike... Nice one, my friend..

Waft every crest upon your destined sea.
Embrace the Wave of Serendipity,
Lest its elusive arcane ecstasy
Refurl with sail for all eternity.
