I can’t wait anymore...my heart beats faster each minute; my impatience grows ever more urgent...this anxiety has taken over. I need to find a way to express this ache... this song is relentless...the need to show you intensifies. I know you encounter these same incessant emotions when this sweet melody, sustained by the unwavering harmony, finds its refuge within you. it all comes together to lift my heart and carry me to its hideaway. in your arms is where I belong...my gaze will reside in your eyes. make your home with me...spend the rest of your days singing to me that beautiful tune you’ve got stuck in my head from sunrise to sunrise. we can climb these mountains...the sky is not limitless; look into my eyes...you’ll understand this longing. I’ll keep waiting for you to call my name... and by the sound of your voice I’ll know-- please, love, find me in this yearning... these clouds wait for us...the stars have a reservation in our name. if it takes me until the final hour, I will reach you and whisper into your ear the words to inspire you to keep me in your arms until the last wave reaches the shore. -kh 02/10/01 everytime I close my eyes, I see your face, I taste you on my lips... every night I fantasize that I can feel you on my fingertips... |

I used to know.... anyway...intense and in depth write of the need to be with someone who lights up your world... how well I relate to that... but then ache is my middle name and I love your signature by the way... small world as they say... I had the same song in my head all day yesterday... seems to be still here today.. but then its a great song. very cool write SP. as I said your growing with each poem. When you see thru loves illusion, theres the danger your perfect lover looks like a perfect fool you go running off in search of a perfect stranger |

Janet said so much in her comment...I have to agree and say that this is a great in depth write!! The poet is like a cocoon; in him the caterpillar of the past finds rest, and from him the butterfly of the future emerges. |

Great inspiration! What does it takes for a person to love another, why can we just mate like animals and continue on? Yet, then we would not be writing so much about love and its sorrows. Loved your poem. |

JM: hey...it is the best feeling I've had in quite some time...and, I can't help but write about it...yes, lights up my world, indeed...very well put. And the song...oh MAN! I just got out of the car and I had listened to it literally four times in a row on a fifteen minute drive...whoa...sorry to go on about it, but that is the most awesome song...and it's something about the way she sings those lines...whew...ok...I'll stop now...thank you so much for your wonderful compliments, as always, and I am glad you like this!  ethome: yes, she did...and I appreciate your reply as well then!!
