This crushing pain of reality,
So easily destroying hope.
Defaming any gladness,
In Hell's aberrant joke.

Straining the strings of serenity,
Bludgeoning the battered soul.
Laying waste the tattered battlements,
Smiting the joys of old.

So alone and so surrounded.
Sanctioned pangs of strife.
Consuming doubts of envy.
In my repugnant days of life.

~~~~For my sister Anne... I love you so dearly and will miss you more than you will ever know. With any joy in life comes a consuming sorrow for how much I love you, and yet must be seperated from you. Without you I am no one...~~~~
Powerful emotions here. Very well written.
You are wonderful. Wonderful write.
Beautiful piece, yet again. Haunting and sad and powerful. Thank you very much for sharing something so personal with the world.
