For My Love On Valentine’s Day

‘Tis just a day, an average day
Tho’ love is in the air
And I have time to stop and think
Of all the ways I have you near.
While in my heart, and on my mind
And by my shoulder sweet;
I think of the many ways
You’ve made my life complete.
Today is just another day
Is it trully so?
Maybe not, for there is this light
That seems to be aglow;
And wrapping you in tender light
I see something anew;
A beauty, a tenderness, a warmth
The love I have for you.
A day is a day, that is for sure
But this day that you are mine;
I have to stop and think of love
And of you, my Valentine.
