Stars

Star hung lanterns glare silently
Shine diamond accents long and strong
They Braille my ship that sails along.
Brand me gypsy wild and tipsy.

They talk to me of weathers flare
And wink at me in sly of flirt
Like the curt of a women’s skirt
That wiles me to a whimsy’s dare

Their beautiful, a fairy land
A hoary gaze of pure amaze
A tapestry in wild ablaze
A Jackson Pollok painted grand.

They speak to me of lore and goal
Make troubadour my heart in store
They orbit me to evermore
And palette hews into my soul.

They give me cues of bright and sight
They light a path into the night.

This likes me so much that it forged a trail straight into my library....even tho the Gypsy may wander....this poem has found a home....

oh my ...

look whos dancing in the stars so fine ..
and this poem equals their shine
and your clever rhyme is divine ..
and now I make this one mine.

*winkiewinkie*

and these two lines......

"They Braille my ship that sails along.
Brand me gypsy wild and tipsy."

they couldnt be any cooler if they drank raspberry Kool-aid ..
that whole first verse is kissed with stardust!!

OH and by the way....
NO one better be winkin at you but me ..
not even Twinkle little star *L*

What a ride through the tides of the heavens this one is.  Exceptionally well done and I absolutely love the images in this one and the strength of the wind that fills it's sails.
