Under the moon you'll go running
for the man you call your lover.
And you'll find out that he's drowning
in the Devil's sacred water.
And your sore heart can't condone it
while your heavy mind grows weak,
and you'll secretly be crying
while you're acting so discreet.

And it's hats off to you my friend,
you're lost and found where you started with him.
Your heart's still spinning like a leaf in the wind
moon running takes you to the limit again.

So you search outside your crying
to bring him back again.
Smoke filled rooms are the climate
where you'll end up finding him.
And you know he could be lying
with sweet words to smother sorrow.
Inside his eyes he'll be smiling
cause you'll be with him tommorrow.

You're so sure that he'll make changes
cause he's got no happy face
but you wind up turning pages
in the history book you hate.
And you find yourself moon running
chasing visions while you're able
with your memories made from legends
of an ancient fairytale.

Well it's hats off to you my friend,
you're lost and found where you started with him.
Your heart's still spinning like a leaf in the wind
moon running takes you to the limit again.

Wow!
How do you know all this!
This leaves me spinning.
I think I'll stay away from the moon
I love your writing
It's life in blatant terms, but poetically superb

P T dear heart, I'm a guttersnipe, I haven't got any manners   Is this good, I don't know me! (So now do you want to real me to swan in and say that this is utterly awesome.) You knew I would, yes yes I know I can't ever tie my heart up and hope it won't be touched by your beauty, by your awesome ability to leave me breathless. Oh to be a real poet, and no I'm not jealous, because this is a wonderful utterly fabulous poem. Of course it is you wrote it.
So was that constructive, and mannered, possibly, it was truth. and that is a fact.
I love it and I've missed you too. Welcome home poety's blues man
Love you dear heart
Take care love as always

Tomorrow holds only mystery
And who's to say what might be

This has a cadence that makes music all its own... Granted, it's not soothing, drift off to sleep music... but so many of us need to heed the drumbeats heard in
"but you wind up turning pages
in the history book you hate."
This is excellent!
