Frustration
By WhiteKnight

Silent, Just a hum
Click, click, tap, tap,
My fingers hit the keys.
I am typing for the whole world to see.
Me.
I am laying my thoughts and feelings down
I am showing everyone my frown
My smiles too,
The miles have made me want to share
To lay bare,
My feelings for you.

I have been married ten plus years,
I’ve had so much to cheer about.
But lately all we do is shout.

I loved you the first day I met you
Some fifteen years ago
I felt I had to be with you, to never let you go.
I felt I had to hug and kiss you,
Oh, how I miss you.

I wish things were that way now,
But things change, we are not the same now,
I still feel the need to hold you,
to never let you go now,
to show you that I love you,
let me show you how.

Wonderful piece, underlying sadness to it
Enjoyed it very much

This reminds me of my parents. 15 years they've loved, 4 lives they've created,
and now thier bond is no more. (sigh)
How can two people love for so long and then suddenly throw the towel in and surrender?
I'm sorry you feel this way, WhiteKnight, perhaps she'll remember the love you guys had..

Will you give me yourself? Will you come travel with me? Shall we stick by each other as long as we live? -Walt Whitman

Bumpintine
Bumpintine
Won't a bump
be mighty fine
Another trip
around the forum
cause I think
it's awful boring
without a little
bump or two
Here's one from me
just for you!

Happy Bumpintine!

Are we having fun yet?

You voice your frustration well. Hoping that ability to communicate will help ameliorate any ongoing frustrations.

so sad that the true love, the real love of our hearts desire we let slip away. It doesn't have to be...go to her, I know she is waiting for you to only say the words and she is yours....

A friend hears the song in my heart, and sings it to me when my memory fails.

Oftentimes only one of a "couple" will be aware of the downslide a relationship is taking... and sometimes standing up and shouting about it helps... Reach out and scream your feelings aloud - It just might help..

Waft every crest upon your destined sea.
Embrace the Wave of Serendipity,
Lest its elusive arcane ecstasy
Refurl with sail for all eternity.
