Babe of mine Awakening me with full smiles Wet morning kisses Tiny chubby arms around my neck So excited to start the day I capture you in my heart Sweet loving baby, with your pale blonde hair like mine Big brown eyes so deep So serious So full of life You embrace and explore your world Bright colors and mirrors Shaking your rattles, Tasting, clutching and throwing them Pure sweet laughter as you play And at night you cuddle Sweet smelling baby, in my arms Gazing up at me with such complete trust and love, drinking your bottle Your tiny fingers wrapped around mine And I tell you once again what a beautiful boy you are How much you are loved What a lucky mother I am My Sweet Donovan To capture and live a moment is truly living |
