Paint me a moonless night
and no stars in the sky
and I will surrender
teach me how to fly
take me to the edge
until I can no longer climb
paint me a moonless night
Please, one more time

Do not cuddle me like a sparrow
my eagle in flight
make me sing like a canary
in the dawns early light

Make me flutter like a butterfly
in your net of passion
release my love
within my heart of emotion

And if I fly away and never return
will the winds on a moonless night
In the nests of love yearn?

A poem is never finished, only abandoned.

Lovely and yep, they'll yearn...and long, and wish and dream and hope and....and...

"Make me sing like a canary" Oh, Victoria,
these words should be engraved somewhere for all women to be inspired-or is that men!!!
