Snow Not So White Part 1

Write a story, she says, she would it’s so easy for her
She doesn’t have any trouble getting words to stir
But if you really want a story then I’ll do what I can
Oh well, what does it matter real work can go hang
What sort of story do you want? Not something sad?
Personally I’d rather have something that’s plain glad
All the best stories start with once upon a time
Still expecting this to be good would be a real crime

Anyway we begin the adventure, huh now that’s a laugh
I bet that there’s no action, for I haven’t got the staff
I’ve had a root around in my extremely untidy mind
This is the tale, it’s not exciting but all I could find
Once upon a time there lived, now why do we say that?
Of course there lived, everything lives including all that
Okay I can see you’re jigging about now the tale starts
It’s all about the trials of a life that quickly falls apart

But I don’t really want to write anything sad today
If I change it about, you wouldn’t mind really what I say?
Okay there was a young maid known by the name Snow
Why do they not have proper names I’d like to know?
Who in their right mind would call their own baby that?
Snow isn’t a name it sounds like something to call a cat
Not what you’d call a daughter is it? No not very likely
You called her Snow, yes a lovely name! No I’d say crikey!

Anyway these stupid people called her Snow, yes really
I’m sure they were lovely and I mean that most sincerely
Quite apart from their inability to find her a pretty name
Anyway it seems to have stopped her playing any game
If you hear Snow what is the first thing you’ll think
That’s right ice cold, snowballs, and skating on a rink
You don’t think she sounds like a warm and cosy lass
You think, she seems likely to freeze off your as…sets

Marsha, I had a great laugh for this one!  So many times I think of something I could write about and find "it goes no where". Well, you sure showed me a thing or two!  I loved it.  Hugs, ME

AD dear heart, So am I love, this took long enough. As ME said it was going no where very fast, so I wrote it as quickly as I could. And I'm really glad it raised a   smile, (now there's an innocent look love   )
And if you read the other two parts you can see they went nowhere either. But I was never really fond of Snow White, I always thought she was a tricky Miss.   and this definitely proves it.
Thank you love
Take care love

ME, love, yes I'm afraid this is one of those tales that went absolutely nowhere. Still don't blame me, blame Kari (Sunshine) it was her challenge.   And I couldn't put it off any longer.
Thank you muchly
Take care

Kari dear heart, a story you said, and this is the story.   You surely didn't want me to think up a story as well.
I love the cat
Enjoyed it did you love?
Take care love

Kethry dear hear, no love I didn't get a chance to read it please repost it love. No one said I had to think up a story as well, did they, nooooooooo. (You know me dear heart, if in doubt cheat   ) I shall look forward to reading your Bolivar story. Knowing that it is utterly wonderful. And did it make you grin love? I can't help it, I just never trusted that Snow, anyone who is sooooooo good seems very suspect to me!!
Thank you dear heart
Take care love as always

Paula dear heart, a few smiles for my friends, and as I said blame Kari, it was her fault. I do think it's better my way than by the brothers, don't you. And wouldn't it have made a better Disney film too.   Maybe it wouldn't have been suitable for children, but I always thought it needed some more humour.
I know I'm a wicked woman and sooooo bad
Take care love as always
