Happy Smiles
~~~
In days to come
from others hearts
their thoughts and troubles tell
Conveyed to ear
from deepest parts
they reach
to dip their quill
There may
perchance
like deja vu
some recollection be
From ember smolder
deep in you
a thought
that speaks of me
~
When sunshine's healing folds
embrace
the tears
within your cries
Then soothes you
in its gentle grace
and dreams
within your eyes
When happy smiles
escort your thoughts
twill set your spirit free
For just an instant
though time forgot
perhaps
you'll think of me
~~~

I thankyou one and all, for your kindness and support throughout the past year. It seems that I no longer have the drive to write, perhaps that may change, if so I'll return with pleasured haste.
Keep writing ... as long as you can ... your thoughts will always reach out to someone

A remarkable write! Very well crafted.
I hope you find your desire to write again, yours are a pleasure to read. I think we all go through times when the right words just refuse to come.

Rex...NO NO NO you can't leave   ...I know it's hard to write sometimes, but stick around just to read, and you may find inspiration somewhere. Please consider that!

Rex love, firstly this is another of your glowing gems, as all yours always are. An absolutely wonderful piece from you.
Secondly I would echo Elizabeth, please don't go, stay and only read if you must but don't go. You along with Margie girl were the first two poets I ever read here. I remember it as my personal epiphany, the first day I wandered in here and beheld wonder. So I would miss you, and I know there are so many like me who would too. I thank you for the beauty you have left, I have quite a few in my library, and when it comes out of storage they will all be there again.
Thank you love for all your wonderful poems, and for sharing them with us all
Take care love as always

Rex
to stay or go always your choice
know you'll be missed as passion's voice
I've enjoyed your write of power
Read you when I've had an hour
Enjoyed your craft I truly did
for me you opened passion's bid
stay a while if you can
reaing,can change your writing plan.
Write on

=====================

very cool write Rex...
happy anniversary ...
ya know...muses are contray companions...
Mine's moodiness is infamous....
sometimes now I go weeks without writing...
where as before it was a daily gift...
some times we need to take a break ...
and sometimes just coming in here and reading the poetry quietly (not always feeling the pressure to reply) renews inspiration ...
either way....
one thing is for sure...
we will save your spot
take care poet sir

but thine shall be the praise.

It will be our loss not to have you around, Rex, and yes, I will always be thinking of you...perhaps you just need a change of pace for a bit, a small vacation...take all the time you need. Pick up the pen again when you feel the urge. Do stop in to visit, in the meantime, though. I'll miss you.

A Happy Smile - For a true poet can complain of writer's block quite poetically - as you have here...
