Have Faith Things will get better. That’s what I used to tell myself, Back in school when kids would point. Laughing at my hair, height, and size Have faith, things will get better. Things will get better Echoed through my aching mind When I awoke from taking those pills Heartbroken I was still here in this world. Have faith, things will get better. Things will get better I whispered the day my beloved gramma passed Thinking she was the only one who understood Feeling so alone, so breathless with sorrow Have faith, things will get better. Things will get better. I softly cry into the night, Shaking as nightmares of my past haunt me. Tormenting memories never letting me forget. Have faith, things will get better. Things will get better. I weep, my heart shattered and broken. I struggle to let him go And forget the love that burns in my heart Have faith, things will get better. Things will get better. I hope as things spin out of control. Homelessness draws closer as I slowly get lost. Watching my life slip though my grasping fingers Have faith, things will get better. Things will get better. I think with a short dry laugh. Wondering why I’ve gripped so tight To those simple yet seemingly untrue words…. Have faith, things will get better. |

Your title says it all, "Have Faith". You have written what a lot of people feel. And all I can say is "Have Faith". Hopefully "things will get better". |

I know when things get tough we have to go on because there is no other choice...we can always hope and pray for a better life...and I believe we all have our share of ups and downs....James |

Thank you all for nice words. I am trying to hold on to those words..."Have faith, things will get better.." but as you all know, that it can be very trying.
