Swans We like sweet swans glide, on dreams, as upon waters with majestic grace- then return to solid land and waddle strangely on dirt |

1st of all, I'm fully in agreement with Tony Abbott! Now...I can really relate to the message of this piece...I am so much more svelte and graceful in my dreams than when I attempt to rise and DO! |

Tanka are just five line poems of 5-7-5-7-7 syllable count, and can be about anything, just like Senryu...this was my first one... Glad you enjoyed. Vas--thankyou for reading.
