In the space between moments

~*These were written for my creative writing assignment...they all turned out to be about the end of summer and beginning of autumn, so here they are!*~

Strings of silver cloud
Stream past the shimmering sun
In a liquid flow.

A lone crimson leaf
Twirling upon dying branch
Clinging fast to life.

Dragonfly tumbles
Falling through twilight shadows
Onto wintered ground.

Beautiful haikus, my dear! Love that first one with the silver clouds and liquid flow... A+!

Krista~
This trio of Haiku is lovely and perfectly done.
How vividly they color the season.
Bravo, dear poet.

These are beautiful images. I think the second is my favorite, hitting cosest to the mark of haiku. The other two lack the characteristic "turn" or revelation in the third line, but each is a beautiful little poem.

Beautiful haikus, my friend. Few people have the talent to paint such images in so few words. Thanks for posting, my friend.
