When you closed your eyes forever,
what were you thinking of?
The clouds, the wind, faces,
or maybe a turtledove?
When you took your last look at the world,
what did you see?
A million little pieces,
or the faces of all to be?
When you watch over us from heaven,
do you wish you were still here?
We wish we could atleast say goodbye,
and try to hold you near.
When you closed your eyes forever,
you didn't think of what he did,
of how he hurt your family,
grabbed you brother and sister, and hid.
When you took your last look at the world,
did you even wonder why,
the world around you was crying?
Did you know you were going to die?
When you watch over us from heaven,
do you sigh and wonder why?
Or if we'll ever forget you,
In our hearts you'll always lie.

thanks so much. this poem is important to me.
when Jesica died, she was my friend and I never said goodbye, so I promised myself and I promised her in my heart, that I would never forget her. I need to write poems for her. ANd I feel bad because her boyfriend is like my really good friend and I think i might love him.

those questions you write about are asked by many..I think your friend knows and would be happy that her two best friends are sharing with each other and in her memories..don't feel bad...just keep on feeling and enjoy what you have
