Inner Light It has been a constant struggle to let my inner light shine, to keep believing in myself and in this heart of mine. I have doubted myself and wondered if I'm strong, second guessing my own thoughts often wondering if I am wrong. I know that deep inside me there shines an inner light and I can feel a subtle warmth taking control and burning bright. I can not suppress these feelings nor run from what is meant to be, I must let life takes it course and I must be true to me. On the wings of words our spirits fly, and our souls are free. ~me~ |

Lovely, lovely! Truly lovely! If we all could know, believe, we have an inner light...and then 'let it shine.' This caused me to recall a song I wrote 10 years ago. I believe I'll post it today. It's called "Inside Out." Thanks for sharing this tender poem, Gentle Spirit. |
