I lie awake in this bed alone Still hearing your voice in my head I reach out to pull you near Realizing once again, you are not here My body falls weak with the thought of you Yearning for the touch of your hand, smell of your skin, The strength of your arms around me Chills run thoughout my body as I long for this My heart aches for you each and everyday Your love so tender, so true It is bringing me down This needing you here with me in every way Your heart I so long to hold For it is a heart filled of gold Our love for each other will never fade As destiny has it planned this way |
