People tell me of love
Of lust
Of infatuation

Love is the feeling of trust
Of being comfortable with someone
Of living with someone forever

Lust is the wanting
The needing
The having

Infatuation is filling the void
Feeling bereft when the one is not around
Wanting to always be touching

People tell me these things
Of love
Of lust
Of infatuation

I don’t need to hear them
I know what these things are

When I’m with you
I feel these feelings
Of love
Of lust
Of infatuation

The love is the laughing
The holding
The arm around the shoulders

The lust is the kissing
The hand on my back
The bite to my ear

The infatuation is the loneliness
The talking until 4 in the morning
The brightening when I see you

I don’t need people to tell me, because
All these things I feel
When I am with you.

Don't ask me to explain this one, but this one just doesn't do it for me. I like it, but it's just not for me, both in the literal sense and metaphoric. Good write, don't get me wrong. Just not my cup of Mocha.

Yesterday's history, tomorrow's a mystery, and today is a gift. That's why they call it the present.
