I make your bed when you're away from home.
Make sure you have clean fresh towels, soap and shampoo,
Coffee or perhaps tea if you prefer.
I empty your trash, clean the tub and shower;
And even the toilet after you're done.
For all I do very few leave me a tip,
But you always tip the waitress who brings you your meal.
Next time think about the housekeeper at the motel you stay at;
Who cleans up after you when you're away from home.

I use to be a desk clerk at a small motel. We had regular guests from out of town who when leaving would comment on leaving tips for the maid. When I would see the maid I'd ask and usually find out NO tip. After the manager checked, we found the person who stripped the beds before the maid got there was taking it.
Yes, you definatly deserve a tip. I've seen some of the rooms after (nice guests) have checked out.

Enotneicna~
Hello, my friend.
This is a wonderful reminder to those who don't -
and a nice pat on the back for those of us who do.

Good to see you.
