Listening to every heart

                               'Tis come

                               'Tis come, 'tis come!
                               thee harbored night
                               of season right
                               in candlelight
                               'tis come

                               no more I by
                               dream of high
do I lift up to the
                               sky, nay,
                               it's come,
                               it's come
                               the time of me
                               has come

                               silent, soft
                               on wings
                               aloft
                               it's come

                               age, and time
                               begat the mind
                               it's come,
                               it's come

                               some say
                               "she will fly
                               this muse
                               to high" but I
                               say,
                               'tis come

                               that this the
                               time 'tween
                               age and merry
                               'tween just
                               and carry of
                               load

                               it's come

                               thus I must not
                               toady about
                               but be about
                               the while of me
                               to stop and see that
                               verily
                               it's come

                               see he that
                               harbors me in his
                               chest?
                               the best of life
                                            yet
                               no strife shall
                               bear me away
                               nay I shall stay
                               within his breast
                               for he is best ~

                               thou art for me…

                               'tis come

                               he bears this
                               the key of
                               me

                               'tis come

                               this love

Great format Karilea and wonderful thoughts so well arranged to make such a poetic impression....you're just a little poetic fountain bubbling over with beautiful words.

Remember....don't toady about!

late last night - while everyone else slept - I watched "It's my turn" on late night TV (Jill Clayburgh/Michael Douglas) - This put it in perspective - Thank you - (and the picture - perfect!) (In case you didn't guess- I loved it)

Well, it's been a long time coming, methinks!

Again, sunshine, you express yourself beautifully...and Elizabeth is right on. May you receive even a small part of the joy you have given us through your poetry...

ok ok I didn't slip any customary wisecracks in...it's Christmas! Merry Christmas, Karilea...
