Sweet words on a screen
To warm a lonely heart
Night after night they are there
Songs are sent
Memories exchanged
Promises given
A reluctant heart convinced
Trust me, believe in me
I will love you til time ends
Let me call
I must hear your voice
While we love the night away
Hours on the phone
Meet me please
A weekend passionately shared
Then
Nothing

*sighing*

~Wynter

this too, is upsetting to me...if true, and it is for many, on here and off, it shows the difference in how men and women feel ...

huggzz Paula for a write that touches...

Oops!  the reluctant heart didn't listen to itself..and then geez just the empty feeling after allowing oneself to be decieved ah heck! hate that... have to regroup and put the guard up even farther....growing hatred for lies.....ah Paula this happens a lot and you have written about it so well!!   ethome

love is the law
wherever it may be found
in life
on the screen
both
it is forever part of us
we  need it
short
or long
love under will

Paula, Oh love, and I know just how you feel, abandoned and used. This is such a truthful write, and displayed so well. It's the way reality crushes the dream that hurts so much. Still there's nothing to be done about it except learn and move on. All love gives us something and whether that is for eternity or just a short while, that is a gift, so I'll take my gift and go forward. Not much of a comfort I know, but it's at least something to hold onto. My heart is with you.
Take care

I believe you have described the defining moment when one is able to determine if a relationship is a reality or a fantasy...for real or just a hope and a dream.. unfortunately this happens way to often....James

sometimes intentions are misinterpreted or misrepresented. Part of a problem with people today. Things should always be upfront and clear. Might be a fantasy but then again what isn't these days.
Well done Paula

Paula, you know I have been exactly there. So cruel and heartless. Perfectly expressed emotion here.
Take care.

Wynter...happens all the time...shouldnt but it does...people prey on lonely hearts...taking what they need with no real concern for the person they are using...thank you

ethome...yep makes for some big big walls...and lots of mistrust...hard to see the good ones lol...thank you

Jeremy...thank you for your poetic reply...and yes love is the law that governs us...but I'm tired of the law...feel like breaking some rules...wanna come along?
