Listening to every heart

The littlest angel

may I be
your littlest angel
a spirit in your heart

you can’t see me
only feel me
in the smile that I impart

may I be
your kindest thought
a lone and ransom act

might I see
the kind of thee
giving with thoughtful tact

would you mind
if I unwind
and stay here a little while

and spread the
cheer of me through thee
in your wondrous smile

might I lay
in your busy hands
do the bidding you command

help you stroke
the fires kind
in loving all of mankind

may I be
your Christmas gift
your heart to lift

then might I stay
the whole year through
this littlest angel inside of you

kari love, you know you are don't you? This is beautiful, so totally you, a gift without thought of recompense. A tender and soft smile, an encouraging word, and a loving gesture, that is all you.   And me, well I'm the sprite naturally, the imp of mischief.
Utterly delightful, and truly splendid, and yes I love it too.
Take care

Need you ask?  You flew in the day I arrived at Passions my friend.

You can be my littlest angel
You can be my pixie
You can be my little sprite
And I ain't whistling Dixie!

You can be my magic carpet
Take me for a ride
I know harm will never come
If I have you inside.

Yes, you can be my littlest angel
Rest here on my cloud
Having you inside me here
Will always make me proud..

I'm sorry, sunshine. Your poem is so heart-felt and touching and I respond with whistling Dixies! Must be a little devil inside me, too!

I love the poem!

Lovely little angel poem.  I enjoyed it very much.

those who really see
littlest angel wings free
thoughts of me to you

Thank you Paula, Marsha, Marge, Mark, Suthern, Victoria, SEA, Balladeer, Bob, John,  and Greeneyes...

this littlest angel is not me
but those tiny gifts you see
every time you come to blue
reading this poetry set out for you

so many here, their will be done
because you've all befriended Sun...

Thank you...
