Answer me, sweet rose,
refresh me with your smile
abandon your reality
and be with me awhile

Bring me in from waltzing rains
give hope, encouragemt
release me from these mortal chains
be mine, for you are heaven sent

Love this one, so sweet

Life has got to chnage,
Nothing stays the same,
Soon it will be time,
For me to move on.

abandon your reality.......
what a powerful line this is.  Loved it.  *s*

Highlander,
This is well done. Such talent.

Respond to my call and let the waves of my heart fill your life with the wonders of love

Yes!  Heart woven and love
touched...excellent writing~

Highlander, wonderful piece.  I especially love the feel of the 1st stanza!!

Are you the Highlander that I ran into at Writer's Write?

it's beautiful, but unfortunately, the answer is sometimes no!  You are a very gifted poet....

and the sun drips honey.""

*dreamy sigh* such a way with words...

"Glory remains unaware of my neglected dwelling where alone
I sing my tearful song which has charms only for me."
