Listen now lads, for I've a tale to tell
'Bout the finest pirate to brave the ocean's swell
In all the ocean's lore 'twas ne'er one as he
The man's man, the pirate's pirate, LngJhnAg!!

Not just a man o' brawn, but also of the mind
In all the world, a better one you'll not find
He battled the Balladeer with one hand
And dispatched the evil Toerag from his land

Many battles did he fight, this pirate bold
But only one could he not defeat, 'twas told
She was the Lady Lorelei, maiden so fair
And her beauty, which could not be compared

Danced they across the deck by light of moon
Whilst the ship's crew played a lovely tune
Ne'er before had he found such treasure
And truly she was, indeed without measure

So then did LngJhnAg no longer sail the sea blue
And with Lady Lorelei a long life he knew
Now my tale cometh to a lovely end
And I thank thee for listening, my poet friends

What a tribute...now he'll boast for days and days...until he gets another roast...by those who know him just a little better!!!

Ah Sven...fine work here!

Sven - This poem has left me speechless - but don't worry - it won't last for long - lol.  Thank you for this tribute.  I feel unworthy, but I know Lorelei is fully worthy of your praise.  All I can do now is hope that Balladeer and Toerag do not find this stirring accolade of my character.  Thank you again.

Sven,
This rises on tides of wonder, as do I at your amazing abilities to pen the heart.

Sven ... I am enjoying this wonderful gallery so very much, and this is another beautiful tribute.  You've penned him well ... a man whose poetry holds wit and charm, and further yet, such beauty when he writes of Lorelei's love. You've penned a wonderful tribute. Hugs to you all,

Best wishes,
/Kit
