I Await

Missing are the eyes
That in the early hours
Hold me entranced.

Missing are the words,
That fill me with your softness,
The warmth within you.

Missing are the moments,
Those spent in togetherness,
In each other's arms.

I await the sound
The shadow of tease, you voice,
To lighten my dark.

I await the morn,
Anticipating those words,
'Til next we meet.

I await... patient,
Knowing that each tomorrow
Will be mine some day.

~Wynter Waits

insect, yes I like that verse too, a voice can do so much with so little speaking, sometimes I wish these poems could actually talk then we would really share in the feelings behind them. Thank you
