Karma on my mind

simply put,
purely a level
of destiny
you and me
but kaleidoscopic beliefs
lend not
to ease
the thoughts of this
lovely chemistry

so come on Karma,
say it’s so
say I’ll know
the destiny
wrought for me
come on Karma ~

kaleidoscope in ~

let me see
if I’m going to like
where I’m going to be

let me see past
the mirrors of color
of green and blue and
purple light
into the yellow of
the night
into the reds of the soul
and that white
that surrounds us all

Karma, contrail into
my mind and unwind
the mysteries
and see past all histories
and on into the
vagaries
for I would
have some
eccentricity

and mix it with
electricity
but never any
duplicity

for that is not my style

let me lean a
little into the
night, make
it all right
with
sincerity

and Karma, while
you are about all
of this, my
friend
take a moment
to never let
certain nights
end
at least not
in the corners
of my mind where
Karma happens
all the
time.

If I whisper, will you listen?...
I would rather be silent and write, than speak loudly and be bound.

Hi Sunshine!
Remember me, Pearls of Wisdom? Great poem. The rhyme scheme was unique and interesting. I think it gave a circular feel - very appropriate because karma is usually pictured as a circle, as in "What goes around comes around." Neat choice of words, too!

Kismet- Karma - Fate -
Call it what you will.
I've felt it.
I think most of us have shared this feeling.
I truly loved the way you expressed this

"come on karma..." I LOVE it! That;s great...cheering on a feeling like a racehorse or a cheerleader fo the home team. It adds such sincerity and feeling to the thoughts....and makes for a dynamic poem!

Kari I love this. But Karma seems to be better to you than to me..
But it will always work out in the end. And dreams are free, I think.
