Just One Lady Doctor The Search You wanted just one lady doctor, you said you weren't fussed So I put an advert in our hospital paper and waited to be rushed There weren't a lot of applicants, I'm very sorry I have to say In fact there weren't even any takers on that very first day I tried to make the advert attractive to lure any docs for you I didn't mention your very strange habit of chewing on a shoe I kept quite about the details of your incident with that girl You know the one I'm talking about I think her name was Shirl I put down in the advert that you were a very nice chap indeed I thought it best not to say that you cost a small fortune to feed There were some replies after I'd lied about you being a billionaire But they seemed to lose interest when I said you worked at the fair There still weren't any lady docs even when I offered them a prize Maybe it's something they didn't like about your odd colour eyes I've seen people with one green while the other is coloured blue But there's something disconcerting about pink and puce it's true So I'm afraid I've had no joy with finding you a lady doc at all They all seem to lose interest when I say you'll give them a call I don't know why it is that they just won't stick around very long Why is that P T they just won't stay and listen to your blues song? Do you think it's because I've told them your name is Prinny True? Could that be the reason they just don't want to test drive you I swear I've not mentioned the dress you said you'd wear that night After all a nice guy like you won't to have to put up a big fight  Marsha Take back the hope you gave,- I claim Only a memory of the same Robert Browning |

Aw Marsha you wrote that ad like that because if you really found me one you know she'd take up too much of my time and I wouldn't be able to bug you here on the board....... well! what a dirty trick!! Ok you asked for it I don't know any Shirl and I don't chew my shoe but I truly did think the whole poem was hilarious.....well I'm off to Louisiana now .....going to Serenity's place ...I've got a stethoscope with me ....ha ha ha let's see what Celeste is doing tonight....oh poof de betts you're gonna be sorry!............. |

Serenity, you do? right I'll send you the little questionaire I devised for him. It's not got a lot of questions on it just the usual stuff, A S L (Don't you just hate that) and then followed by what are you wearing. (Sorry just my sense of humour) I'll be good I promise. Well goodish. If you know some games with a stethoscope, I'm sure you'll be at the front of the queue. Anyway it's his own fault he asked me too track one down.  Paula love, right sweet, you can keep the queue in order. And I'll let you have first dibs on jumping to the front. I know it's only because you want to see him in that frock. I told you it's a nice dress, just a little too well it's a little too everything really. Not a subtle dress at all. If it's giving a statement, I'd say it was saying come and get me. Prinny True, I didn't hear you creeping down the hall, you almost got away with that. I did my best I swear, maybe I'd get better luck next time. I know I'll make it a boxed advert, since I haven't got a photo, I'll get someone to pose as you, someone ruggedly handsome, would do, right. (No! where would I get one of those, I'll get that doc rat that has been going through our nurses like a dose of salts. Anyway thats gratitude for you love, I try and you don't thank me, :Tell me how would you feel about an anaethetist, she's not a doc, but she can put you under with no trouble. She just has to breathe on you, so I've heard. Who Me??
