I know that my 500th post should probably be a poem but I want to take this time to say thank you to you all. I attempted this before.. but not many people stopped in, which is fine, but I’m stubborn so I am trying again  Passions has taught me so much I can’t even begin to tell you. Most importantly it has given me confidence in my writing and has allowed me to expand my writing ability. Before Passions, very few people have read my writing. My best friend of 12 years stopped by the other day.. and I showed her my poem web page.. and she asked where all the words came from… she has never seen my poetry before. I thank you and all the wonderful, talented, warm hearted people who respond to my posts with such kindness. Knowing that such amazing poets who I so admire and respect (Mark B.. Bill Charles, Elizabeth Santos.. just to name a few) also like my work makes it all worth it All of your work has inspire me.. some has moved me to tears.. some make me laugh.. and some just put me in a state of awe. You are all so talented and I feel lucky to be able post along side of you.So.. thank you all again. I’m so grateful for the day I stumbled into this beautiful world of poetry and I plan on staying a long long time so you are all stuck with me for quite awhile …lol  Tara .. better known as rp25 [This message has been edited by rosepetals25 (edited 09-24-2000).] |

Mark - I had to mention you in this post.. you have inspired me time and time again with your amazing tender heartfelt words. And that I will always thank you for. CONGRATULATIONS rosepetals You have said it all in this, I feel the same way. Without this place I would not have expanded within my poetry and had the confidence to show others outside my family my work which I now proudly do. Tara let me say thank you to YOU. Your replys to my work are always so kind and tender and never cease to warm my heart. I know when I'm notified that I have a reply from you that I'm gonna be smilin both on the inside as well as the out. Many many congrats on your 500th. Looking very forward to that 1000.
