canopy of dawn blossoms tangerine
fruit of the morn succulent with hue
my mullioned window sparkles
in a rainbow of breathless dew

the free spirit of the wind chimes
recites a song of adoration
to the dance of the butterflies
in the sunlight of foliation

hot raisin toast and sweet apple butter
sipping lemon tea ..the hummingbirds flutter
pink azaleas of morn bursting in bloom
inhaling the essence of the days perfume

Reach high, for stars lie hidden in your soul.
Dream deep, for every dream precedes the goal.
